The good news is my Mexican restaurant is letting you carry out margaritas. Is that legal? Don’t know, but I’m not about to rat them out
Bad news is Fiona sprung a leak. this is about an hour of accumulation. So that’s bad.

Is that legal?
Here they have a temporary rule allowing licensed restaurants to sell alcohol with take-out.

Normally, no, it’s illegal and they could lose their license.
But a lot of cities made it legal temporarily with everything that is happening.

“I will make it legal”

I would be very sur prised if those changes stay temporary, I don’t think you can roll that back. Though I imagine there will be an anti-underage drinking backlash at some point. Doesn’t seem like it’s hard to require delivery people to check ID for these orders (maybe not during epidemic, but later on), or to have Grubhub et al do some age verification.

I’ve topped off the system twice and both times it’s been with the BMW suggested stuff which I think is blue.. so if that’s coolant idk how it’s that color.

Texas allowed alcohol takeout and delivery with the quarantine, and it’s unlikely that will get taken away. Yay Covid!

I, I think it’s washer fluid. It must be the lines to the headlight washer

Cool! your car is leaking margaritas now!

I think there’s going to be a lot of temporarily waived regulations that don’t get rolled back after this; for instance, recognizing out- of - state medical licenses and nursing certifications.

Seems to be the case for Wisconsin too

We have DRIVE-THROUGH daiquiri places in Louisiana. I was shocked when I found out we could drive up and buy anything by the cup or even by the gallon. Seriously. We once bought a gallon of margaritas for a party.

I dunno if it’s the pan or what but that fluid looks kinda creamy

And with some luck, they’ll make that permanent. Ontario has ridiculously restrictive rules surrounding alcohol compared to Europe and Mexico.

I still never understood the purpose of “open container” laws. If a drunk guy was going to be disorderly , what makes it different for the guy to get drunk outside or inside of doors?

It’s just another “make benign behaviour a revenue source” law.
It’s about as much of a problem as “Parking with wrong side of the car to curb”... which is something you might do at times deliberate because you want to load stuff from the driver side for one reason or another.
Do that in Toronto can get you a ticket.
And in some municipalities, having a clothes line wasn’t allowed eiher.
And I’ve personally broken the Bathtub law ... I’m a felon!!!
There are many laws like this on the books that in my view, should never have made it on the books.
But police and prosecutors habitually oppose removing anything even when there is no actual proof the given law or regulation provides any actual benefit to society.
A good number of laws make it onto the books due to bad politics and/or faux-science.
It’s garbage like this that reinforces my view that we don’t actually have a “Justice System”. What we have is a *Legal* system that falsely advertises itself as “Justice”

That bathtub law is oddly specific... sounds like the equivalent of hot coffee is no longer allowed because someone burnt their mouth.

Most likely.
